Avatar Review
James Cameron’s Avatar is finally out, and I can honestly say that this is the best movie of the year, hands down.
A deep story, over-the-top action, the best special effects I’ve ever seen, and excellent performances from actors like Sam Worthington, Sigourney Weaver, and Zoe Saldana, makes a ticket for this film worth every penny. I recommend seeing it in IMAX 3D if you can, because the 3D and sound in the IMAX theater adds much to the experience, without being gimmicky like other 3D movies.
The film has already been nominated for 4 Golden Globes, including Best Motion Picture - Drama, and I expect it to receive many Academy Awards as well, including Best Picture. Go see it.

The Motorola Droid

Apple has released new iMacs and refreshed the $999 white MacBook today. The new iMacs include up to a beautiful 27-inch 16:9 widescreen LED display, the all-new wireless, multi-touch Magic Mighty Mouse, and, naturally, more memory and faster processors. The new iMacs start at $1199. The white MacBook has also gotten a refresh, including a white, unibody enclosure, multi-touch trackpad, 7-hour battery, and glossy 13-inch LED display, all still for $999. The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus
The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus was the movie Heath Ledger was working on before his untimely death. This work was finished, however, by three A-list actors Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell, and Jude Law. The story is kind of confusing to tell the truth, so I won’t try to explain it.
